Books That Will Teach You To Be Rich 🥰

Posted by Arya Miss.Firestar on

This month we are talking, discovering and digging a bit into a topic I used to ignore, fear and take for granted for a long time, MONEY!

Why? I was ignorant.

It was when I moved to London in 2017, after years struggling with bad spending habits, not knowing how to budget, save, what investing even meant, how to create wealth, how to be rich, how to think rich, how to act rich, it's when I started asking better questions that my thought patterns started to change and so did my actions because of this. Hell! I didn’t even know I COULD, actually, BE RICH!

I went from being angry at those posh school mates to ask, how does someone build an empire? I went from resenting the successful to asking, how can I mirror that success? I went from being envious and jealous of asking, how can I become better and attract all that I am? If they did so can I, right? At least, that's what I believe.

Here are some of the books I have read so far that have had the biggest impact on my way of thinking, every single one of them has practical steps to follow, they are simpler than they sound and like everything, they require active action from your side.

Read them, highlight them, take one step at a time and ask yourself why do you do the things you do the way you do them? Feel free to email me with your insights. I'd love to know the changes they spark in you, allow me to be your accountability partner, share your journey! It will inspire me to continue sharing this content.

Why settle for crumbs when you can have the whole pie and eat your cake too?

Enjoy 🥰

The Richest Man In Babylonis a 1926 book by George S. Clason that dispenses financial advice through a collection of parables set 8,000 years ago in ancient Babylon.

“The reason why we have never found a measure of wealth. We never sought it.”
George Clason

I Will Teach You To Be Rich - by Ramit Sethi is a practical approach delivered with a non-judgemental style based on the four pillars of personal finance - banking, saving, budgeting and investing - and the wealth-building ideas of personal entrepreneurship.

“The single most important factor in getting rich is getting started, not being the smartest person in the room.”
Ramit Sethi

The Money Or Your Life - The purpose of Your Money or Your Life is to transform your relationship with money. That relationship encompasses more than just your earning, spending, debts and savings; it also includes the time these functions take in your life. In addition, your relationship with money is reflected in the sense of satisfaction and fulfillment that you can get from your connection to your family, your community and the planet.

You will reach new levels of comfort, competence, and consciousness around money.

“The world needs you to show up and follow your dreams.”
Vicki Robin

The Master Key System - based upon the principle of using thought as the manifestation of creative energy, The New Master Key System shows you how to use the power of thought to realize your dreams and attract everything you need to achieve what you desire.

“Our future is entirely within our own control. It is not at the mercy of any capricious or uncertain external power.”
Charles F. Haanel

Abundance - in this book, space entrepreneur turned innovation pioneer Peter H. Diamandis and award-winning science writer Steven Kotler document how progress in artificial intelligence, robotics, digital manufacturing synthetic biology, and other exponentially growing technologies will enable us to make greater gains in the next two decades than we have in the previous 200 years. We will soon have the ability to meet and exceed the basic needs of every person on the planet. Abundance for all is within our grasp.

This last one I'm just reading it this week and it's so EXCITING  that I want to share it with you as well. I learned about the author, Dr. Peter H. Diamandis, through an episode of Tim Ferriss's podcast and he is empowering, inspiring and a VISIONARY.

The keyword in this quote being THINK.

Last thought to wrap up:

It’s easier to be a pessimist because then you don’t have to take action, you just sit back and complain. Optimists, on the other hand, are realists, action takers, seeing the world for what it is: everything we see around us exists because someone thought about it and then found a way to create it.

Hope you enjoy and I look forward to hearing your success stories, no matter how big or small, every step forward counts as much!
